The stars show: ABBA tribute

The stylus rasping softly on a vinyl record, and then there is that unforgettable moment when your spine tingles as the voices of Agnetha and Anni-Frid ring out. Then you are dancing to the rhythm of the Dancing Queen!

On 27 September, Boomerang Casino sends you on a journey back to the 1970s, when the legendary Swedish quarter tribute band ABBIA is coming to Boomerang. This is the most famous ABBA tribute band in Russia and beyond and is the only band in Russia and Eastern Europe officially licensed to perform and record ABBA music. The concert will transport you to the disco era, when Agnetha, Anni-Frid, Björn and Benny were at the peak of the their fame.

The Russian quartet performs the immortal hits so faithfully that many people may suspect they simply lip-synch their shows. We assure you that is not true! ABBIA offers nothing but live sound! The artists carefully reproduce every signature element of the stars’ 1970s performances: their costumes are made from the original sewing patterns, there are platform shoes, choreography and recognizable voices. Add lighting and a disco ball to the mix and voilà, you are at a real ABBA concert. The programme features several stage images, authentic musical instruments and flawless professionalism of the artists, who performed in Mamma Mia! and Chess written by the authors of all of ABBA lyrics and music.

The Stars show is held monthly at Boomerang Casino on the days of the Cosmic Pot giveaway. The programme features tributes to legendary performers from Russia and all over the world, stunning shows and talented artists giving stunning performances.
