Where is Sirius located?
Convenient location and excellent transportation accessibility make Sirius popular among Russian tourists. This resort is located close to Sochi, in the Imeretinskaya lowland, between the Mzymta River in the west and the Psou River in the east. From the south it is washed by the Black Sea, and in the north its borders reach the foothills of the Caucasus. A ride from Sochi airport to Sirius lasts just 15 minutes (but it is better to take into account possible traffic jams). There are also trains running from Sirius to Krasnaya Polyana, and by car the road will take about 40 minutes along the highway.

With an area that could accommodate several soccer fields, the sports park is a complex sports zone designed similar to the best parks in Moscow. There are seven playgrounds for team sports, five zones with outdoor exercise equipment, a children's play area, as well as areas for yoga, dancing and creativity.

Buran orbital ship

If you want to get acquainted with the history of Soviet cosmonautics, be sure to visit the Buran orbiter mockup, which is located right in front of Sirius University. This full-size prototype of the famous Soviet shuttle was brought here in 2017 from Korolev, located near Moscow. Inside the mockup you will find almost the same elements as in the original: the tail part remained intact, and the cabin is equipped with virtual simulators that allow you to feel like a cosmonaut.
The virtual tour starts right from Sochi International Airport, where visitors are offered to go into orbit. This interactive experience will provide a unique opportunity to learn more about Buran and the history of its flight in 1988.
Phanagoria Museum

Fisht Stadium

Today, the Adler Arena holds competitions in various sports such as fencing, freestyle wrestling, gymnastics, boxing and tennis. Nikola Tesla Electric Museum

In 2014, a new embankment was built in Sochi, stretching for 7 kilometers along the seashore, from the border of Abkhazia.
