Performance "Theatrical Mess"

On May 17 at 19:30, the V Igre Theatre will host an immersive performance based on the Russian classic. This is a unique show in which the audience takes part, and a gastronomic dinner.

Did you know that one of the most ironic Russian writers, Anton Pavlovich Chekhov, was a great gourmet and hedonist? “Whoever does not attach due importance to nutrition cannot be considered a truly intelligent person,” he once said.

The V Igre Theatre invites you to share the taste preferences of the famous author and, together with the heroes of his works, immerse yourself in an atmosphere of lightness and irony for one evening. Sparkling humor and wonderful live music will keep you company. Young and talented theater and film actors will naturally involve guests in the creative process, so that you will feel like a participant in the events. The menu is compiled taking into account the gastronomic preferences of the classic.

The play is based on the humorous works of A.P. Chekhov: "The Tenant", "Long Tongue", "American Style", "The Slob", "A Lost Cause", "A Conversation of a Drunk Man with a Sober Devil", "New Year's Great Martyrs".

Chekhov-style menu:

• Melting-in-your-mouth duck and foie gras pate, assorted Italian cheeses and foreign sausages.
• Shamelessly appetizing Olivier salad with trout and caviar.
• Juicy, wonderfully tender beef Stroganoff with pickled cucumbers (because scientists have been thinking since the creation of the world and have not come up with anything smarter than a pickled cucumber).
• Dessert Anna Pavlova, light as a ballerina.
• Sparkling wine that hisses like the snake that seduced Eve.
