Coming to Sochi and not celebrating the New Year in Caucasian style is simply impossible!
On December 31st, join Mantera Travel on an unforgettable journey through sunny Abkhazia—a country where winter smells like tangerines, and the holiday spirit is palpable in every glance and toast.
The journey begins with a morning departure from Sochi and, within an hour, will bring you to warm, welcoming Gagra. Here, you'll visit the legendary Gagripsh restaurant, stroll through the seaside park, and take a photo near the Openwork Colonnade, the city's symbol and a favorite spot for New Year's photos.
The route then continues to the Wine Jet winery, where you'll enjoy a tasting of Abkhazian wines and a stroll through a tangerine orchard filled with sunshine and the aromas of citrus. The tour continues with lunch at the Abkhazian Yard restaurant, overlooking a mountain river and a glass bridge—just like in a movie, only for real.
The journey continues to Lake Ritsa, the pearl of the Caucasus, especially beautiful in its winter garb. And in the evening, New Athos awaits you, immersed in the lights of garlands and the sounds of celebration.
The tour culminates with a New Year's feast in the village of Duripsh, with warm toasts, songs, khachapuri, shashlik, and the indescribable atmosphere of a Caucasian holiday. As the clock chimes, surrounded by friends and mountain views, you'll welcome 2026 brightly, joyfully, and with all your heart!
